    How to open the global Disney+ app using the Disney button on the remote control

    When I press the Disney button on the remote control, the local version of the Disney+ app—which is no longer active—opens instead.

      • Turkmenistan

    If pressing the Disney button on the remote control opens the discontinued local Disney+ application, uninstall the local Disney+ app (com.disneyplus.mea) by following the steps below:

    1. On the remote control, press the Quick Settings (spanner) button, and select Settings.
    2. Select Apps.
    3. Select See all apps.
    4. Select Disney+ (com.disneyplus.mea).
    5. Select Uninstall.

    After you uninstall the local Disney+ app, press the Disney button on the remote control. The global Disney+ application should open (com.disney.disneyplus).
