The storage capacity shown in the TV menu may be lower than the capacity listed on the product page. This difference occurs because part of the TV’s built-in storage is reserved for the operating system and system files.
The TV’s built-in storage, also known as internal storage, consists of the following areas:
- System area: Stores the operating system and system files. You cannot access or use this storage area.
- Internal shared storage (excluding system area): Stores downloaded apps and user data. You can access and use this storage area.
When you check the available storage on your TV, the TV menu will only indicate the available storage that is user accessible. Therefore, the available storage will be different from the description on the product page.
If the TV does not have enough available internal storage, delete content that you no longer use, such as:
- Unused downloaded apps
- Demo content (applicable models only)
- Cached data
