How to transfer contents from your Xperia phone to a Windows computer using USB Connection

You can transfer data from your phone to a computer using a USB Connection.

1. Connect your phone to a computer using a USB cable.
2. Depending on your model, you will see either of the following:
    
   1. On your phone, the USB connection setting notification should pop-up, then choose [Allow].
      
      NOTE: If there is no notification pop-up, go to [Settings] > [Device connection] > [USB] > Select [File Transfer]
      
       
   2. Drag down the status bar, and then tap the USB connection setting notification.
      
      Tap Tap for more options., and then select File Transfer.
      
       
3. On the computer, go to windows explorer, select the new internal storage drive that shows the model number of your phone (e.g. XQ-CQ72), then select your files you want to transfer by either using copy and paste or drag and drop to the location on your computer
