Why does the torch (flashlight) turn off automatically on my Xperia smartphone?

On Xperia models released after April 2025, or updated to Android 16, the torch (flashlight) will automatically turn off after five hours of continuous use to help prevent it from being left on accidentally or causing heat buildup.
