(Wired) Connection diagnosis results are displayed as OK, Failed, Failed
After performing a network diagnosis, the result may appear as:
- Physical Connection: OK
- Local Access: Failed
- Internet Access: Failed
Follow the troubleshooting steps below. Each of these steps represents a possible solution to this issue, so please check the network connection status after completing each step.
- Make sure the LAN cable is securely connected to the TV and to the router
- Connect the LAN cable to a different LAN port on the router
- Reset all of the network equipment, such as cable modem and router, by turning them off and un-plugging them for 2 minutes
- Re-connect first the power cord of the modem
- Re-connect the power cord of the router
- After turning them on again, wait for a few minutes until they are done initialising, and confirm you can access the Internet on your other devices (such as a smartphone or computer)
- Connect the TV power cord and turn on the power supply, and then perform the connection diagnosis again
- Perform the connection diagnosis again
