To prevent an e-mail from being marked as Read automatically, please disable the following option with the steps below.
Note: The steps below are based on Outlook Express Ver.6.0.
1. Start Outlook Express.
2. Click the Tools tab and click Options.
3. Click the Read tab.
4. Disable the Make message read after displaying for * seconds option.
5. Click OK.
