Formatting a Memory Stick

Note:
Windows® XP does not support quick format of the Memory Stick.
To format Memory Stick Pro using the VAIO computer, the Memory Stick Formatter program is required.

Please follow the steps below to format a Memory Stick.
1. Click Start and click My Computer.
2. Right-click the b>Sony Memory Stick icon and click Format.
The name of the drive may vary depending on the VAIO computer used.
3. Click Start to format.
4. Click OK.
5. When the Formatting completed message appears, click OK.
