Why does the prompt "The color scheme has been changed to Vista Basic" appear in the System tray when playing back a BD on a Vista computer?

The prompt The color scheme has been changed to Vista Basic appears in the System tray when playing back a BD on a Vista computer.

Windows Vista Aero is disabled when playing back a BD movie. This behavior is by design.

    Note:

    • Windows Vista operating system automatically changes back to the Windows Aero interface when closing WinDVD BD or removing the BD out of the drive.
    • Users need a BD-capable drive to playback BD movies. Refer to the online specifications to determine if the VAIO computer is equipped with a BD drive.
    • Before troubleshooting BD playback symptoms, ensure that VAIO Update is performed for the latest updates for the VAIO computer.
