How to install the PC card (FAX modem card)?
Some FAX modem card drivers and applications are not compliant with TAPI. Therefore, a FAX modem card cannot be recognized if COM ports other than COM1, 2, 3 and 4 are used.
Follow the steps below to prepare for the installation of the FAX modem card:
1. Make a COM port and IRQ available.
2. Disable devices on Sony Notebook Setup.
3. Insert the PC card.
Follow the instructions on the Instruction Manual supplied with the FAX modem card to complete the installation.
