Changes made to the BIOS settings were not reflected after restarting the computer.
The occurance of this symptom could be due several reasons:
- Forgto to save the changes made to the BIOS settings
- Selected the Exit without saving option instead of the Save and exit option in the setup program.
Note: These 2 options are usually located right next to each other on the BIOS Setup menu.
If the changes cannot be saved, there may be a problem with the CMOS battery. Please bring the VAIO notebook to the local service center for inspection.
