How to increase the vitual memory settings in order to improve the computer's performance?
Improve the computer's performance by increasing the vitual memory.
Please refer to the following steps on how to change the setting of the vitual memory for Windows® XP Home/Professional Edition:
1. Right-click My Computer and click Properties.
2. Click Advance and click Setting in the Performance setting.

3. Click Change in the Advance tab.

4. Select Custom size and change the value. After changing the desired value, click Set and click OK.

5. Click OK and close the System properties dialog box.
6. Restart the computer and the new setting will take effect.

1. Right-click My Computer and click Properties.
2. Click Advance and click Performance Options.

3. Click Change in the Performance Options dialog box.

4. Increase/decrease the value on Paging File Size for slected drive, click Set and click OK.

5. Click OK and close the System properties dialog box.
6. Restart the computer and the new setting will take effect.
Note:
By increasing the vitual memory, the hard disk drive capacity will be decrease as memory will allocated for the vitual memory.
