There is no sound from the audio system when connected via eARC.

    If you are watching images that use audio codecs such as DTS-HD Master Audio or Dolby TrueHD, sound may not be output when the TV and audio system are connected via eARC.
    In such cases, check the following.

    • Check that the TV and audio system are connected using an HDMI cable with Ethernet.
    • Set the TV's eARC setting to Auto.
      1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
      2. Select  Settings.
      3. Select Display & Sound or Sound.
      4. Select Audio output.
        NOTE: If Audio output is not shown, skip this step.
      5. Select eARC mode.
      6. Select Auto.
    • Set the TV's speaker output setting to Audio system.
      1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
      2. Select  Settings.
      3. Select Display & Sound or Sound.
      4. Select Audio output.
        NOTE: If Audio output is not shown, skip this step.
      5. Select Speakers.
      6. Select Audio system.
    • Check that the audio system supports eARC. Also, check the eARC settings of the audio system.
      For details, refer to the manual of the audio system.
    • Check that the external devices connected to the TV's HDMI terminals support output from audio codecs such as DTS-HD Master Audio or Dolby TrueHD.
    • The TV does not support DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD from USB files, video streaming services, and broadcasts.

    NOTE: Depending on the specifications of the audio system, there may be no sound because it does not support some audio codecs.
