How do I change the time on my Android TV™/Google TV™ to adjust for Daylight Savings Time (DST)/Summer time?

    IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products and/or operating systems. Check the Applicable Products and Categories section of this article before starting these steps.

    Depending on your situation, adjust the following settings.
    NOTE: If there are no broadcast signals or network connections, see If the date and time are manually set.


    If the date and time are automatically set

    Operate as follows to set the correct time.

    1. Open the  Settings screen. How to access Settings:
    2. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
      • Select System — Date & time.
      • Select Device Preferences — Date & time. 
      • Select Device Preferences — Date & time — Time.
      • Select Date & time.
      • Select Date & time — Time.
    3. Select Set time zone, then select the proper city.

    If the date and time are manually set

    Operate as follows to set the correct time.

      • Select System — Date & time — Automatic date & time and set to Off.
      • Select Device Preferences — Date & time — Automatic date & time and set to Off.
      • Select Date & time — Automatic date & time and set to Off.
    3. In Date & time, select one of the following steps according to the menu path that is displayed.
      • Select Set time zone, then select the proper city.
      • Select Time — Set time zone, then select the proper city.
    4. Back to Date & time again, select one of the following steps according to the menu path that is displayed.
      • Select Set time, then set the correct time.
      • Select Time — Set time, then set the correct time.
