Sony is offering the latest update program Ver.3.0.05 for PMB (Picture Motion Browser).

Note: To apply the update program, PMB needs to be installed in the computer beforehand.

Functions to be Added / Improved

Main additional functions

• Upload function for network services
  Images can be uploaded from PMB to a photo/video sharing website.
• Labelling / Rating function
  Labels and ratings can be added to the images. Images can be classified according to the added labels or ratings.
• Video analysis function (Film Roll / Highlight Index)
  By analyzing the video, several scenes can be displayed as thumbnails. This function not only displays thumbnails by specific intervals, it also automatically searches for the scenes in which laughing or cheering are recorded and displays them as thumbnails.
• E-mail and track display functions in Map View
  Map View with images displayed on the map can be sent as an e-mail attachment. Also, the routes travelled (tracks) can be displayed on the map.

Improved functions

• DVD writing performance will be improved in certain environments.
• The print button in the single display window will be able to work correctly. (For Ver.2.1.00 / 2.1.01 only)
• The compatibility between the converted WMV files and other software, such as Windows Movie Maker in Windows Vista, will be improved. (For Ver.2.1.03 or later)

* The above Operating System needs to be preinstalled at the factory.
* Operations are not guaranteed in an upgraded or multi-boot environment.
Hard disk space: 500MB or more is required to download the program.
The system requirements of the original PMB apply to this update program.
