Executive Appointments (effective April 1, 2021)

Tokyo, Japan – As announced in May, 2020, the Sony Group will implement a series of changes to its organizational structure, effective April 1, 2021, and the new Sony Corporation will be established to oversee its electronics business (the Electronics Products & Solutions segment in Sony’s current financial disclosure). The executive structure for the new company is outlined below.
Following this realignment, Sony Corporation executives currently in key positions within core Sony Group businesses will be positioned as executives of their operating companies, and will continue to strive to create value in each business.
