Not all Sony TVs are supplied with the following features. To see if your TV supports the connectivity, check the specifications which are available in the Instruction Manual.

Wi-Fi Direct

TV can be connected directly with a Wi-Fi Direct/Wi-Fi compatible device that also supports the DLNA push controller function. Content such as photos/music/videos on the device can be played on the TV.
The difference with DLNA is there is no wireless router (or access point) required to use this feature.

For newer models, the supported file format for playback via USB/DLNA/Wi-Fi Direct is available on the i-Manual.
