Overal I feel the product has met and surpassed expectations. The quality of the recordings is super, playback options include bluetooth which is a plus - for shoots I mainly use the mini jack out for my headphones but when I use it personally, it really is neat to be able to connect wirelessly to my speakers at home and listen to any recordings. The UI is great, easy to read and modern fonts. The feel of the material is grippy and nice, not smooth and even though the unit is big, I'm not worried about dropping it if I'm using it handheld. Big dedicated dial for the input gain is nice.

The Mic preamps have plenty of gain , and are clean , the Menu is easy ... The Battery life is amazing . and All the main needs are on Switches on the Body instead of buried in menus ......

Best IMO sound when recorded at 48khz 24bit rate

When compare recording from LP to Digital, with 96khz 24bit and 48khz 24bit, the latter has greater smooth depth and more musical IMO.

Sony makes great recorders, but doesn't seem to listen to our needs. Dear Sony - add a way to use your portable recorders as an audio interfaces. Adding FLAC playback, add FLAC recording.
