I bought this product about 5-6 years ago, and it works perfectly.

Bought this tv back in 2021 and it has just been lying in storage. Switched it on today on 10-01-2026 and works like magic. No complaints. Great tv.

First Sony tv I have bought and have to say after three and a half years of use it has been an exceptionally joy to watch. The picture and sound quality are excellent definitely no need for a soundbar. Sony now on for me.

I bought this 2 years ago. Since the beginning I had the problem with the CI card, once inserted. It gets into conflict with something (power supply ??!!) and the normal channel shows picture fragmentations and the HD channels cannot be viewed. I sent it back for repair, it came with improved quality but not 100% solved. So after another year, in time it got again worse and worse and I cannot use now the CI card at all. The support from Sony is non-existent, even I understood from CTV provider , it is a Sony Android TV issue. I called and write to Sony, answer was evazive and most ....update SW. which it is done automatically (set so on my TV).

I bought this years ago so not sure why I get a review request now but I have had issues with it since purchase. Often the screen will flash a blinking white screen and I dont know the cause or the fix but a day or 2 later it will be fine. There are already dead pixels that have resulted in a black spot about a foot long across the middle of the screen but I guess for the amount of money you pay for a Sony TV that should be expected. I have had to factory reset countless times. Sometimes it just freezes and doesnt respond at all

This was my first Google TV and also my first Sony product. I have been very happy with the TV and the Google TV interface. The Apps available meet all of my needs and the continued support & updates have kept the TV up to date. The picture quality is faultless as well as the sound. The TV interaction with other Google devices work without any issues.

I bought it 3 years ago and it stopped working two weeks ago

I'm using cca.2 years ago. I'm satisfied, but not fully. In case of DV content the screen is dark although the light is on maximum and selected DV light mode. It could be more lighter.

Bought tv 10/2021 and been faultless. Very clear and bright image and viewable from wide angle without loss of contrast. Sound does lack some depth.

When making a decision to buy a new TV, of course the priority is the brand. Before this I have used several other brands but the level of satisfaction did not reach what I expected, especially in terms of durability. It has been almost 2 years of using Sony tv, there have not been any problems that I have faced compared to several big brands that I have used before. I am very satisfied with the quality of the images, the sophistication of the technology used, very satisfied with the purchases made. I have made the right decision when buying Sony X80J. Thank you Sony.

Remote control useless have had to replace it .Channel changing moot easy and always has subtitles.

I brought this TV about 5 years ago and I haven’t had any problems with it the picture is perfect.

There is definitely a difference to higher premium models from Sony, like we also have, but for that price you get an excellent TV. I would recommend it for darker areas.

Had this for a while now it keeps locking out the remote control so I have to unplug it loosing settings every time

Overall the performance is good, sound quality is decent enough but the display could have been better. You expect more from a 4k tv

I have had this Tv for a few years and it been great, great built in speakers and it has a variety of picture viewing options. The Picture is really clear and the Tv is really fluid and it does a fantastic job when compared to higher priced TVs. Really happy with so far. the only thing I don't like is the built in browser but this something minor and you can download alternatives

This tv needs repair! Spent over 1000 for the tv to get a black screen!!! Within two years! Pretty convenient for Sony! Since the warranty is only one year! I bought it and it took months! To get delivered! At least two months!! And this is just very disappointing! How I used to have an older version before purchasing this!!! And it lasted longer than this.

It's a lovely TV with a great picture, however after it has done it's last update it not just turns itself off when you are watching (I'll call it normal TV) Digital TV. Any streaming channels it's fine. I've done a reset and still the same. Very disappointed indeed. I don't buy another Song now I'm afraid.

I bought this as soon as it came out. I can't install most apps due to restrictions. It won't even connect with Alexa! The image quality is great, there is no doubt about that. Classic Sony, but there is also a dreadful popping sound the first time I move the selection, like an output issue, but only the first time I move left or right in the menu....it was like this since day one. I thought the update would fix it, but it hasn't.... I LOVE Sony, but not this model... It has caused me way too much anxiety, and Sony in Pafos (Cyprus) was NO HELP at all!

I bought this tv about 2 years around October 2021. 2022 saw a little more screen glitch going on . Now into the new year I’ve seen it flicker a lot more now which is weird for a Sony tv not even that old to start flickering.

My first Smart TV - well pleased. Easy to navigate the menus.

Really LIKE and ENJOY this TV for my Living Room, has all the features I would think it needs as it stands and Very Easy to operate / select the options!

This is great TV, excellent picture quality and sound, worth the four star rating would have got 5 if it had 2 satellite inputs so that you could watch one channel and record another.

Developed a recurring fault within a year of purchase which is still yet to be satisfactorily resolved by Sony.

This is the second Sony bravia to I’ve had & only replaced the old version be as it was 14 years old they are a quality product

like the brand owned first flat screen in 2003 just recently can not get local major channels 6abc 3cbs 10 nbc

After endless problems with other so called smart TV brands we eventually found this Sony which is the best TV we've ever owned by far, great features and simple and intuitive.

We have had the TV 18 months and had been great until about 6 months when we lost half the screen to horizontal and vertical lines. Contacted the supplier as we have a 5 year warranty, they advised a software update and this seemed correct the fault. However the fault came a couple of month later, this time software was upto date, so they recommended a factory reset and again this corrected the picture. Then a few months later the fault came back, again software checked, another factory reset, but unfortunately this it has not cured the problem. Now waiting for Sony to either replace the TV or refund the cost of the TV.

I bought this TV on 8/3/21 and it work great until 7/13/23 when the screen all of a sudden started to fad when you turned the set on!! I though it was the cable company so had everything replaced(box, HDMI cable & had them come out to check the line to & inside the house & everything on the cable company's end was great so had Best Buy come out & tell me that the screen is shot & you don't make a replacement so I need another TV!!!

I purchased this Sony television in August 2021. It has provided many happy hours of viewing and the quality is excellent. The constant updates over time has enhanced the performance, functionality and reliability of the television.

It was difficult to set up with the on screen instructions not always easy to follow, as the options & return weren't easy to find. The stand is far too big for the size of TV

Hi, I bought this product a year ago and this has started giving problems. The screen goes off and red led blinks. Trying to reach put customer support to get it sorted.

The TV as per reputation has remarkable color features being supported by the Triluminos Pro processor.

Having now bought this TV, I have to say I got the real deal. I haven’t seen such a good deal anywhere
