Got this second hand at bargain price. Good sound compared to TB and Bluetooth really useful. Does what it says but not multi speaker atmos replacement.

I bought this month ago, I very enjoy sound effects.

Occasionally no audio connection with Sony TV. Need to reboot by powering off the main switch.

I heard a kinda spark if the volume is slightly high. It happened not too frequently. I'm still reviewing it further to see if I need to bring it to the Service Centre to see if I'm wrong about the slight spark in sound.

I bought this a month ago sometimes the sound not clear..But overall it's good

I've been using the HT-G700 with my laser 4K projector for a couple of weeks. I've tried it with movies, TV shows, live TV, sports, Spotify, and PS4 Pro. Movies: detailed sound but with very poor low-frequency bass; dialogues get lost with noisy sequences. Overall, satisfying 3.1 audio but with a huge disappointment Dolby Atmos experience. TV shows: not too bad. However, you should use your TV speakers if you care more about clear dialogue. Music: don't use it. PlayStation: Very good sounds and effects. Dialogues are still an issue with noisy backgrounds. It's the right item if you want a decent 3.1 audio system. Totally to avoid if you're looking for an ATMOS sound experience.

About to call and get it fixed as not working despite trying

I bought this HT-G700 to replace my 10 years old CT 780. HT G700 has better vocal but not low Bass, lack of NFC function and unable to connect to Sony Sound Center apps.

Overall performance is very good & value for money to be use with Sony Bravia TV

I find that the very low frequency sound is smooth and 3-dimensional. Voice is good and natural. Music is generally good but for some type of music which have several high frequency instruments, it may sound noisy. Stereo sound for music is perhaps average.

Regret buying this. Sound quality is lousy. Worst then my old soundbar.

I upgraded from ct390 to this G700, is a huge upgrade, i am ver happy and satisfied with the sound and performance. Love it, always sony.

Happy so far except some times the voice is very low

I bought this a month ago and I now have better sound system..

Having received a reply from Sony, I have now updated the firmware and am now using my new HDMI cable and the difference is fantastic, I no longer turn off the soundbar to use TV speakers, only watched a couple of films and started a few TV Series but I can now hear dialogue great and am very happy with my purchase. I would however suggest that with this being Bluetooth enabled re the subwoofer, it is a shame the soundbar cannot update itself in the same way the TV does but I suppose that this is at the cheaper end of the market and you get what you pay for

The product works as expected. One star lacking because is that sometimes it cannot connect the audio to my samsung TV. It works 50-100 times but once a while it just needs me to restart the TV or Soundbar again to connect properly

This would not be my 1st choice, I have tried all different settings and can barely hear what people are saying during films or TV dramas etc. background noise or music or sound effects drowned out any dialogue. Music is quite good and sound effects on films are good but at the expense of dialogue. Also for some inexplicable reason, it is temperamental. It does not always work, over Christmas, it would not work at all and I could not find any fault, so I ordered a new HDMI cable. Still, before it arrived on the day after Boxing Day it started working again, I have no idea why, I never touched it at all but because I enjoyed the TV over Christmas without the sound bar I decided to unplug it and use the superior TV sound system. Which is a Sony Bravia I have been disappointed with this because I use a lot of Sony products and they are usually excellent.

The subwoofer was never able to connect... The Sony customer support did not help much, as a result, I have been without any product for the last 14 days

Apparently the software seem unstable as my soundbar power off afterv2 hrs in afew ovcassions recently. And the audio mmersive AE is switch off once diifetent source is used.

Happy with product well designed and easy to use and clean

The sound surrounding is excellent. Like watching a movie at the theater.

I purchased this about 8 weeks ago and the sound quality on speechas very poor couldnt here people talking on films as the background music was so loud in the end I sold it and bought a Sony s2000 much better system

Was browsing around for a suitable sound bar to replace the one at my home and met the salesperson in explaining what's the differences between Sony various sound bar on sales. Decided to go with the HT-G700 because of the Dolby Atmos feature which make the sound more immersive. Never regret getting and changing the one at home for this great sound bar.

Sony always gave a prefect sound on its audio products. I love this atmos sound bar very very much. It was worth for the value.

You get extra w this product. Clear sound, powerful bass. You will never regret. Buy at harvey norman for Rm1539 only.

I bought this item during Merdeka sales from Harvey Norman at a discounted price and enjoyed it when using the soundbar listening and watching movies with the Dolby Atmos on Netflix. My overall rating is 4.5/5.

14 months into ownership, and the Bluetooth feature stopped working. Sony has the worst customer service.

I bought this speaker last month but the sound quality no as crisp as I expected

I bought it 2 months ago. Though we do not use it often, it's definitely good to have it when when you are watching action pack movies.

I had 3 Sony so far Sound is good, but problem is after 1 or 2 years stop working or get sound low!

I bought it a month ago and still enjoying the purchase and discovering the value of my purchase.

Value for money and pleased with the sound as I can clearly hear the dialogue on dramas and movies.

Purchased to go with Sony Bravia TV. Simple to connect. Different setting enabled me to get the sound I wanted. Synchronisation with the TV was good.

Really having a blast with the system. The immersive experience is so great i cant explain.
