HWZ – HWM+HardwareZone.com Tech Awards 2011 is an event that honors the best in tech products and services that were introduced between December 2009 and November 2010. The Editor's Choice Awards were presented by the editors and tech gurus behind HardwareZone.com and HWM to products with outstanding features, performance and value. The awards given were based largely on technical test results obtained from rigorous lab tests conducted in HardwareZone Labs during the qualification period while the Reader's Choice Awards were given to products and services with the highest number of votes, cast by HardwareZone.com and HWM readers in Singapore. The NEX3 was accorded the Editor’s Choice for Best Mirrorless Camera, while the BRAVIA KDL-40EX400 was also given the Editor’s Choice for Best Value LCD TV. At the same time, readers voted Sony as the Best Mirrorless Camera Brand.
