(How to Avail)
Sparkling Warranty Plus!
· Offered only in Sony Authorized dealer outlets nationwide
· Sparkling Warranty Plus! must be completed within seven (7) working
days at the origin of purchase
· Original invoice and the Standard Warranty Certificate must be
presented to avail of the Sparkling Warranty Plus!
· Sparkling Warranty Plus! amount must be paid in full to enforce
warranty
· Sparkling Warranty Plus! and Registration Form must be completely
filled out in triplicate
· The customer shall keep the original copy of the Registration Form
· Sparkling Warranty Plus! certificate will be sent through mail.

Sparkling
Service Warranty Plus!
· Offered only in Sony Authorized Service Centers nationwide
· Sparkling Service Warranty Plus! is subject to Sony Service Center’s
preliminary assessment of unit.
· Sparkling Service Warranty Plus! must be completed within the
Standard Warranty Period of 1 year from purchase date (365 days)
· The CRT-TV must be deemed in excellent working condition prior
to the application of Sparkling Service Warranty Plus!. Units that have
been opened, mishandled, and tampered with will be ineligible for this
warranty extension. The customer can either bring his/ her unit to any
Sony Authorized Service Center for evaluation, or opt for home service.

TERMS
& CONDITIONS (Extended Warranty)
Sparkling Warranty Plus! / Sparkling Service Warranty Plus!
1. Sony Philippines, Incorporated (SONY) agrees to provide free repair
service for the registered article if found defective during the term
of either 1 or 2 year/s depending on the extended warranty period availed,
from the expiration date of the original manufacturer warranty.
2. Free Repair Service will include the cost of labor and all replacement
parts required for the proper functioning of the above mentioned article
but excludes CONNECTING CORD, ACCESSORIES, CABINETS.
3. The extended warranty will not apply -
a. If the product has not been installed, operated and maintained in accordance
with the manufacturer’s installation and operating instructions
provided with the product.
b. To damage, malfunction or failure of the product when used in commercial,
business, industrial or rental applications.
c. To damage, malfunction or failure caused by water, fire, accident,
negligence, abuse, misuse, improper voltage input, normal wear and tear,
or unauthorized repairs or tampering by any person to meet local electrical
conditions, safety standards and broadcasting systems.
d. To cosmetic, paint or product finish damage.
e. To damage, malfunction or failure resulting from acts of God, external
forces and impact (such as excessive heat, power surges and dips, and
abnormal voltages).
f. To damage, malfunction or failure due to animal, pest damage and/or
insect infestation, liquid spillage, burglary, theft.
g. To external and supplied accessories.
h. To damage, malfunction or failure due to improper connection with other
equipment(s).
i. To any damage or failure to the extent not covered by the original
manufacturer warranty.
4. In case of unavoidable cause/s (e.g. the required spare parts are supply
ended) which in effect prevent any Authorized Sony Service Center to carry
out the repair service under the terms of this agreement, SONY reserves
the right (a) to replace the product with like kind, quality and specification,
or (b) refund the unused portion (according to time apportionment) of
the retail purchase price of the product, rather than repair it. Where
a replacement is provided, the product or part replaced becomes the property
of SONY. Replacement of the product or a part does not extend or restart
the extended warranty period. If the product is replaced during the extended
warranty period, the extended warranty automatically terminates upon replacement.
To the extent permitted by law, SONY’s maximum liability under the
extended warranty shall not exceed the retail purchase price of the product,
OR the cost of repairing the product.

6. Please bring the product to the nearest Authorized Sony Service Center
to avail of warranty service. Tampering or repair by persons other than
those duly authorized by any Authorized Sony Service Center will invalidate
the warranty.
7. Payment made by customers to avail the extended warranty is non-refundable
under any circumstances unless cancellation of the agreement has been
made within thirty (30) days from the date of purchase.
8. In each case of claim, the extended warranty certificate together with
the original manufacturer warranty card, and proof of purchase (receipt
and/or invoice) must be presented with the defective product for repair
and/or replacement by any Authorized Sony Service Center.
9. It is important that the model and serial number on the product matches
the model and serial number stated on the agreement; otherwise the warranty
shall not be honored.
10. The extended warranty is invalid if the factory-applied model and
serial number located on the back cover of the product has been altered,
defaced or removed therefrom.
11. The warranty is valid only in the Republic of the Philippines.
12. The warranty is valid only for the original customer. The warranty
is non-transferable.
13. Sony Philippines reserves the right to cancel the agreement in the
event of:
j. Transfer of ownership or sale of the product
k. Repossessed products
l. Unauthorized repair or replacement of covered products
m. Discovery of fraud or material misrepresentation
14. The warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy of the purchaser. SONY
shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, consequential or special
damages for breach of any warranty on this product. Except as otherwise
provided herein, no warranties, either express or implied, statutory or
otherwise, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular
purpose, are made with respect to the product, and all such warranties
are hereby expressly excluded.
