BDP-S1E Blu-ray Player Firmware Update Troubleshooting Guide

“WRT FAILED” is displayed on the player front panel display.
“DISC-DWLD” is not displayed on the player front panel display when the update disc is inserted.
"NO DLWD 02" is displayed on the player front panel display.
All my personal settings are gone after the update.
How can I make sure that the update disc was correctly created with my CD authoring software? 
During the update process, the player turns off.
When I double-click the downloaded "UPDATE_BDPS1E_VER0390.exe", the ISO file is not created and the following error message appears: “Win32 Cabinet Self-Extraction”. 
When the player is turned on after the update was done, nothing appears on the TV set or on the player front display.
When the player is turned on after the update was done, “POWER ON” appears on the TV set or on the player front display. 
The firmware update lasts for more than 50 minutes, and nothings seems to happen. 
“INCOMPLETE” / ”NEED DISC” are displayed on the player front panel display.
