如果不是在 1996 年與著名的導演兼攝影監制 Rajiv Menon 偶遇，Ayananka 可能會轉而成為一名醫生或室內設計師。Ayananka 的首個大銀幕拍攝項目是在 24 歲時完成的JP Dutta’s Umrao Jaan，隨後就拍攝過數百部廣告和劇情短片，包括 Tashan、Kites、Kick、Dostana、SOTY 以及他最近與 Aparna Sen 的合作.
