Removing USB connection (safe removal of hardware) (Windows)
- Make sure that this unit is not being accessed.
- Click the icon
(removal of hardware) on the task tray in the lower right of the computer screen.
The devices currently connected to the computer are listed.
- Click the icon of this unit.
- Confirm the message "xxxxxxxxx" and click [OK].
Clicking [OK] is not required on Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows XP.
- Disconnect the USB cable from this unit and the computer.
Note
- The icon and message displayed may vary, depending on the version of operating system.
- This unit turns off when the USB cable is disconnected from the computer.
