What is My Sony Rewards?
My Sony Rewards is a loyalty program that awards our members Sony points ("Points") for purchases made at any of our Sony Stores (both outlet stores and online, excluding e-commerce marketplace) and by participating in other aspects of the program. You can redeem these Points to offset eligible Sony Store purchases or redeem e-vouchers for your favorite lifestyle brands. When you register your product through your My Sony Rewards account, you may also be eligible for an extended warranty*.
We'll also send you Sony news and exclusive offers if you sign up for our emails.
*Extended warranty varies for each product.

What are the benefits and privileges do I enjoy as a member?
In addition to earning Points that can be redeemed for Sony discounts and lifestyle rewards. My Sony Rewards members who sign up for our marketing communications will receive first-hand information on pre-sale invitations, member-only events, and personalized promotions.

How do I apply to be a My Sony Rewards member?
To join, just head on over to https://mysony.sony-asia.com/en-th/home/mysonyrewards and sign-up as a My Sony Rewards member. As soon as you verify your email address, your My Sony Rewards account will be activated, and you can begin earning Points. The best part is that there is no cost to join!
Existing My Sony member accounts will automatically be upgraded into My Sony Rewards member accounts. -
Does My Sony Rewards membership have an expiration date?
Membership in My Sony Rewards has no expiration date. -
Can I transfer my membership and/or Points to someone else?
No. Your My Sony Rewards account and the Points in it are strictly non-transferable. -
How do I update any changes to my personal information and contact preferences?
To update your information, log in to your account using your email address and password at the member's portal webpage (accessible via https://mysony.sony-asia.com/en-th/home/mysonyrewards).
To edit your profile and preferences, navigate to "My Profile" and click the hyperlink for account settings.
Please note, however, that the email address used to create your My Sony Rewards account serves as your login ID and cannot be changed. -
How can I terminate My Sony Rewards account?
To terminate your My Sony Rewards account, go to account settings in your member portal and click the account termination link. Kindly note that terminating your My Sony Rewards account will also cancel your access to various Sony services. You will no longer be able to use your Points, recover any unused vouchers, or access to all the program's benefits.

How do I disable My Sony Rewards e-Newsletter?
You can enable or disable your e-Newsletter subscription through your account setting page. Untick the checkbox labelled "Yes, I would like to receive birthday specials, member exclusive offers, and the latest marketing and promotional offers from My Sony Rewards." By disabling your e-Newsletter subscription, you will no longer receive updated promotions, product news, personalized rewards via any means of direct marketing or less response to your inquiries as a result of limited messages to promote and support activities.

How do I check the balance and expiration date of my Points?
After logging in, your points balance will appear on the first landing page. Click "Points earned" to see each point's expiration.

How do I earn Points?
There are many ways you can earn Points. Points can be earned by making purchases at any of our eligible Sony Stores (both outlet stores and online, excluding e-commerce marketplace), participating in surveys, and attending Sony workshops. Members at different tiers earn Points at the rates set out in the table below:

Once your status is upgraded to the next tier, your status point shall be reset to zero. However, the redemption points still remain the same as long as not being expired (24 months after points issued) For instance:
If you are a CLUB member & purchase/earn 1,700 points, such points will be credited into 2 pockets.
That is:
(1) Status points for tier maintain or progression 1,700 points to upgrade CLUB to ELITE since surpassing minimum 1,500 points required. Whereas, the total status points will be reset to zero. You will need to acquire new points again either to maintain the same or move up to PLATINUM with the given minimum points required per tier within 24 months of the current status.
(2) Meanwhile, Redemption Points for spending at Sony Store is not reset & shall remain the same as 1,700 points. Spending this points has no effect on Status Points above.
Your tier is eligible for downgrade once your remaining unexpired status point is less than your current status’ minimum point requirement. The system will evaluate new tier on the last status day based on the remaining points except the point that you gained to become the current status. In addition, your remaining status points shall be reset to 0. For instance,
- If you are a CLUB member from earning 1,000 status points
- You gain additional 700 status points and immediately be promoted to ELITE as you now collect 1,700 status points in total.
- 12 months later, you gain another 300 points and now have 2,000 total status points.

Which Sony products are eligible for earning Points?
All products purchased from Sony Stores (except PlayStation® products and non-Sony products) are eligible for point accumulation.
Purchases from e-commerce marketplace such as Lazada and Shopee are not eligible for point accumulation. -
Can I earn Points on promotional and sales items?
Yes, you can earn Points for purchases made during sales and/or promotions. -
When do I get Points after making a purchase?
Sony Stores Online: You will be awarded Points the next day after your item has been delivered.
Sony Stores outlets: Points will be awarded to you immediately after payment is made and products are collected. -
How are Points calculated?
Points are calculated by the net amount payable on each eligible product bought after discounts, rounded down to the nearest baht. -
I forgot to provide My Sony Rewards ID, can I still earn Points?
For store purchases, Points can only be earned at the time of purchase by providing your My Sony Rewards ID (email address) to the cashier. We reserve our right to consider other presence of your evidence and shall not be bound to any commitment of point earning in such regards. -
Can I earn Points for purchases made outside of my home country?
No, you may only earn Points for purchases made from Sony Stores (both outlet stores and online, excluding e-commerce marketplace) made in the country you registered your My Sony Rewards account.

How do I use Points?
You can use Points to offset Sony Store purchases (both outlet stores and online, excluding e-commerce marketplace), or redeem e-vouchers for your favorite lifestyle brands. Log in to My Sony Rewards member portal to view the list of rewards on offer.
Points redemption rate for cash discount purchasing at Sony Store is 1 Point = 1 baht. -
When will my Points expire?
All Points earned have a 24-month expiry period and cannot be extended. The expiry date is displayed on your Points earning history page. We encourage you to redeem your Points before they expire in order to maximize the program's value.
New Member Welcome Voucher

How can I get my Welcome Voucher?
Welcome Voucher is only valid for members who sign up for My Sony Rewards for the first time. The Welcome Voucher will be credited immediately after you successfully login to the member portal. -
What are the terms & conditions for Welcome Voucher?
The Welcome Voucher is valid for one time use at any of our Sony Stores (both outlet stores and online, excluding e-commerce marketplace) and is to be used within one transaction. Validity of the voucher is one months from the date of issuance.
A minimum spends of 2,000 baht is required, and our Welcome Voucher cannot be used together with other coupons (unless specified), new products or pre-order products and non-Sony products. Please check at shopfront for more information.
Our Welcome Voucher is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash in part or full.
Birthday Voucher

How can I get my Birthday Voucher?
You are entitled to a one Birthday Voucher during your birthday month. The Birthday Voucher is limited to one redemption per profile per year during the month of your profile's birthday, as recorded during your membership registration.
You will need to register before your birthday month in order to receive your birthday voucher. The Birthday Voucher will be issued to your account at the start of your birthday month. If you have registered your membership after the start of your birthday month, you will only be eligible for a Birthday Voucher the following year. -
What are the terms & conditions for Birthday Voucher?
Birthday Voucher is valid for one time use at any of our Sony Stores (both outlet stores and online, excluding e-commerce marketplace) and is to be used within one transaction. Validity of the voucher is two months from the date of issuance.
There is no minimum spending required. Our Birthday Voucher cannot be used with other coupons (unless specified), or on pre-order products and non-Sony products.
The Birthday Voucher is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash in part or full.
Membership Tier

How many membership tiers are there?
My Sony Rewards has three memberships tier: Club, Elite, and Platinum. The rate at which you can earn Points is determined by your tier. For example, at Club, you'll earn 3% and Elite for 4% and Platinum 5% Points for a total spending at Sony Store. Some products such as camera & lens will offer different rates. This multiplier allows you to earn more Sony points as you progress to the highest tier. Click here for more information on how to qualify for each tier and its associated benefits. -
How do I progress to the next membership tier?
You can move up to the next tier by accumulating the minimum required number of Points required for the tier upgrade. To keep your current tier status, you must also meet the minimum Points earned to renew within 24 months from the start date of your existing tier. The qualifying and renewal Points earn requirements can be found here. -
What happens if I don't meet the minimum Points required to keep my tier?
If you do not meet the minimum points requirements for renewal, you will be relegated to the tier corresponding to the points earned over a 24-month period from the date that membership tier is upgraded (if applicable). -
When will my new membership tier become effective?
If the transaction earns enough Points to upgrade tiers, it will happen immediately after the points crediting transaction is completed. After the new tier status is reflected, you can earn Points based on the new multiplier.
For example, as an Elite member you need 150 points (equivalent to TH37500 spending with 4% earn rate) in this transaction to move from Elite to Platinum. After 150 Points, you will be promoted to the Platinum tier. In your next purchase, you will earn 5% Points per spending. -
How many Points will I receive if I exceeded the Point requirements for my current tier?
You will continue to earn Points for spending based on your current tier rate. However, Points will be awarded based on the new tier rate for your next purchase. For example, if you have earned 1,400 Points at the club tier, you need another 100 Points to advance to the Elite tier. Today, if you spend 10,000 baht, you will earn 300 points (a 3% earn rate) and qualify you for the Elite tier. After your new tier is reflected in your account, you will earn 4% on your next purchase.
Product Warranty

What is the difference between E-Warranty and the warranty that is registered by post?
Sony only recognizes products* that are registered online thru e-Warranty to be valid. Warranty that is sent by post will not be accepted. We recommend all customers to register your newly bought products* with us here.
*Only for Sony products bought in Thailand. -
Can I register an E-Warranty without signing up for My Sony Rewards?
No. To register your product for an extended warranty, you will need to become a My Sony Rewards member. -
Can I register more than one product?
Yes. We allow the registration of all Sony products*. This is also recommended for insurance purposes. Existing My Sony Rewards Members can login here and click My Products > Register Product.
*Only for Sony products bought in Thailand. -
When must my product be registered in order to receive an extended warranty?
To receive up to 1-year extended warranty, register your product with My Sony Rewards within 15 days of the purchase date. Please take note that not all products are eligible for warranty extension. To view a list of all products with extended warranty, click here. -
Auto product warranty registration
Products purchased from Sony Store or Sony Store Online are automatically added to your My Sony Rewards account for warranty purposes. What should I do if I want to opt out of warranty?
To opt out of auto product warranties for any specific products, you can contact Sony customer care consultant at Line@sonythai for the fastest support or call 02-715-6100, from Monday to Friday (9 am - 6 pm), excluding eve of Public Holiday and Public Holiday.
Cancellations, Refunds & Returns and Exchanges

Can I cancel/return my order and get my redeemed Points back?
Any cancellations/returns will depend on the requirement stated on Sony Store Online FAQ. If your request is approved, your Points will be credited back to you with a new three-month validity period. -
What happens to the discount voucher (e.g., Welcome and/or Birthday voucher) I used if I cancel/return my order?
Sony will not refund any discount vouchers that were used, and the transaction was cancelled and returned. -
What happens if my Points balance (e.g., 238 points) is insufficient to reduce points earned from returned products (e.g., 1,488 points earned from a payment of 49,600 baht – 3%)?
Your available Points will be deducted, and any Point shortages will be converted to the baht value and deducted from the refund amount. -
Can I do a partial refund (for example, returning one of two items purchased)?
Sony Store Online:
Unfortunately, partial refunds will not be allowed for Sony Store Online purchases.
Sony Store Offline:
Members who made in-store purchases from our Sony Store offline may approach our staff for assistance within 7 days from purchase. We will assist you in having the initial invoice cancelled and issue a new invoice for the remaining item(s), if any. -
How many Points would I get back if I had to do a partial refund?
• All Sony Points earned from the returned item will be deducted from your account.
• Any Points used to offset the purchase will be credited back to your account.
• Any vouchers used will not be refunded to you.
