Contest Terms and Conditions

Sony South East Asia (A division company of Sony Electronics (S) Pte Ltd) ("Sony") maintains this web site ("Web Site") and is responsible for this contest of "BRAVIA - Crystal Clear Clarity" (“Contest”)  You can access and use this Web Site and eligible to join the Contest only if you agree to and accept the following terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions") which consists a valid agreement between Sony and you for any use and browse of the Web Site, and the Contest.  Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before accessing and browsing this Web Site and joining the Contest.  By accessing or browsing this Web Site or joining the Contest, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.

Sony reserves the right to cancel or amend the Contest or these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.  Any cancellation or changes will be posted either within the Website or these Terms and Conditions.

Qualifying Entrants and Use of the Web Site

  1. The Contest is open only to those who become the fans of “Sony Singapore”, "Sony Malaysia", "Sony Thai", "Sony Indonesia", "Sony Philippines" & "Sony Vietnam" on the Facebook pages.
  2. Employees of Sony, their advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible.

Contest Rules

  1. The Contest is valid from 13 March to 23 March 2016.
  2. All entries must be received by the timing as stated in the individual posts.
  3. In each of the Participating Countries, one (1) participant will be selected by the Panel as winner.
  4. By submitting the Contest entries, you thereby (a) specifically authorizes Sony to use and/or have third parties to use such entry in whole or in part, throughout the world, in perpetuity in or on any and all media, now known or hereafter devised, and alone or together or as part of other information, content and/or material of any kind or nature for the marketing purpose; (b) represents and warrants that all elements contained in the Contest entries (i) is original to you or fully cleared for use as contemplated herein, (ii) does and will not, in any way, violate or breach any of the terms of any other agreement you may be a party to, (iii) is not unlawful information, infringes or violates any copyright or other right (including the image rights), (iv) does not contain libellous, tortuous, or the publication or sale of which will violate any federal or state statute or regulation, (iv) is not obscene or in any other manner unlawful, and (v) shall not require Sony to pay or incur any sums to any person or entity as a result of Sony's use or exploitation of the same.
  5. Representatives of Sony will randomly pick six (6) winners with the correct answers, all of which shall be at Sony’s sole discretion.
  6. When Sony picks the winners, Sony will contact each of the winners by Facebook private messaging, and request their name, addresses, contact information, such as phone/mobile number (“Contact Information”) for the purpose of delivering the Prizes (hereinafter defined) of the Contest, and Sony may disclose such Contact Information to a third party service provider solely for such purpose.  The winners shall agree on providing such Contact Information to receive the Prizes and provide such Contact Information by the date which Sony separately specifies.  If the winners do not agree to provide such Contact Information by such date, such winners will be disqualified as a winner and Sony, at its sole discretion, may decide whether a replacement should be selected based on the same criteria as the original one.
  7. Announcement of the winners will be posted as a comment of the contest post at the Facebook page by 31 March 2016.
  8. The winners may be requested to participate in public relations events tied to the contest to generate press coverage of the contest and the accessories range.  This may include, but not be limited to, quotes given for inclusion in press releases and press conferences, interviews, etc.
  9. Sony reserves the right to disqualify all entries that do not meet the rules and regulations of the Contest as described in these Terms and Conditions.  These include entries submitted with invalid or incorrect information.

Prizes

  1. There will be six (6) winners.
  2. Each winner of the Contest will win a SWAROVSKI Crystalline Stardust Stylus Pen.
  3. Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash or other items and may be subject to availability.  Value of the prizes may vary; Sony reserves the right to replace any prizes with items of similar value without prior notice.
  4. The winners hereby acknowledge and agree by accepting any Prizes that Sony may share the winner's name, nickname, My Sony ID if applicable, image, voice, likeness and/or the fact that the winner won the Prizes with the other participants or My Sony Members through the Page, the website of My Sony, e-mail, or any other medium..

EXCLUSION OF WARRANTY
You expressly acknowledge and agree that use of the Prizes is at your sole risk.  EXCEPT OTHERWISE EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN OR EXCEPT FOR THE WARRANTY FOR THE PRIZES EXPRESSLY PROVIDED BY SONY IN ACCORDANCE WITH ITS APPLICABLE WARRANTY POLICY OR PROVIDED PURSUANG TO ANY APPLICABLE LAW, THE PRIZES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND AND SONY, SONY'S AFFILIATES (IN THIS SECTION, SONY, AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL BE COLLECTIVELY REFERRED TO AS "SONY") EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IN CONNECTION WITH THE CONTEST, THE PRIZES AND/OR THE USE OF THE PRIZES, AND/OR THE WEBSITE AND/OR THE USE OF THE WEBSITE INCLUDING THE MATERIALS THEREON.  SONY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE FUNCTIONS OF THE PRIZES WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, OR THAT THE OPERATION OF THE SOFTWARE INCLUDED IN THE PRIZES WILL BE ERROR FREE.  SONY DOES NOT WARRANT OR MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS REGARDING THE USE OR THE RESULTS OF THE USE OF THE PRIZES IN TERMS OF ITS CORRECTNESS, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE.  NO ORAL OR WRITTEN INFORMATION OR ADVICE GIVEN BY SONY SHALL CREATE A WARRANTY OR IN ANY WAY INCREASE THE SCOPE OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.  SHOULD THE PRIZES PROVE DEFECTIVE YOU (AND NOT SONY) ASSUME THE ENTIRE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION.  THE EXCLUSION OF WARRANTIES ABOVE APPLIES TO YOU TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER THE APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS AND SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Limitations of Liabilities 
SONY, (IN THIS SECTION, SONY AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL BE COLLECTIVELY REFERRED TO AS "SONY") SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE LIABILITIES FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGES, RELATED TO OR IN CONNECTIN WITH THE CONTEST, THE PRIZES AND/OR THE USE OF THE PRIZES, AND/OR THE WEBSITE AND/OR THE USE OF THE WEBSITE INCLUDING THE MATERIALS THEREON.  SUCH DAMAGES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF USE OF THE PRIZES EVEN IF SONY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.  IN NO EVENT SONY SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY MONETARY DAMAGE IN CONNECTION WITH THE CONTEST, THE PRIZES AND/OR THE USE OF THE PRIZES, AND/OR THE WEBSITE AND/OR THE USE OF THE WEBSITE INCLUDING THE MATERIALS THEREON.  THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY ABOVE APPLIES TO YOU TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER THE APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS AND SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising out of these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive venue of the courts sitting in Singapore, and the parties hereby consent to the venue and jurisdiction of such courts.
