Sovanna Kem is a freelance photographer and he started his career in 2012. In 2012, he completed Studio Image course at French Institute major of Photojournalist. He worked for Sabay Web as sport photographer from 2013 because of the lack sport photographers in Cambodia. He covered South-East Asia Games 2013 for NOCC in Myanmar and 2015 in Singapore as official sport photographer. He also covered FIFA World Cup qualify and AFC for Cambodia team.

He likes sports, travel and landscape photography because he wants to show the world about the beauty of Cambodia land.

In 2016, he was selected as Sony Cambodia Ambassador.
