There is no system sound or voice response sound from the TV when connected via eARC.

    When eARC mode is enabled, there is no system sound or voice response sound from the TV while watching video from an external device connected with an HDMI cable.
    Because the audio signal from the HDMI input passes through the TV, it cannot be output to the audio system at the same time as the system sound or voice response sound from the TV. This is a specification of the TV.

    NOTE: Sound is output at the same time when watching content via USB connection, streaming service, or broadcast.
