Step 2: Search for the model name on the support site
Type in your TV’s model name into the search bar. The full name should automatically appear in the auto-suggest menu, once you start typing. Click on the model to go directly to the product page, or click the “search” button to find the best possible matches, and choose a TV.
NOTE: If you are not sure whether your remote is the bundled remote or another remote that was sold separately, try typing in the model name of the remote control.
The model name is either on the front of the remote control or inside the battery compartment/cover. Click here to check how to open the battery compartment of TV remote control.
The model name starts with “RM”.
Step3: Go to your TV’s model page
Once you’re on the TV’s product page, you can see the basic information about the remote in the Reference Guide/Operating Instructions or Help Guide.
It shows you the buttons and the functions available.*
Also, by typing in keywords such as “remote” or “remote control” in the search box, you can find related articles.
If you encounter issue with your remote control such as buttons not working or voice search not working, refer to TV troubleshooting guide.
*The remote control shape, location, availability and function of remote control buttons may vary depending on your region/country/TV model.
