My first step into wireless audio

MUC-M2BT1 31 August 2019 by Sutlore007 (Malaysia)

I've been enjoyed listening music at the best level that I could afford for years. I know that wireless audio is too new and could not compare to the wired audio in term of sound quality. However, LDAC from Sony is my most expectation to getting me into the similar experience as the wired audio that I have been in love with. I must admit that for functionality, this device performs very well, easy and very convenient to use. It maybe a little bit too large and fragile to put in the backpack with other items. The soft punch that comes with it does not help to protect the device, so I need to very careful to put this in my bag. The connection between audio device is totally flawless, not so many problems even I listen to the music in the bathroom while the audio player is in my living room. The most disappointed aspect is the sound quality. Wireless audio still needs a lot of improvement to catch up with wired audio. My setting up for normal listening are UE Reference Monitor, UE18pro, Shure SE846 with Sony NW-ZX300. Overall, the sound from this device has been adjusted quite a lot, drastically different experience compares when I use these with Sony MUC-M12SB1, the Kimber cable. The high is very limited, not so sparkle. The mid frequencies are OK, most pleasant of the most. The quantity of the low-end is too much and no details. Listening to the music through this device also make the EQ adjustment in the NW-ZX300 is impossible to do. I think the next generation of this product needs to be improve massively to meet audiophile demands.
