Sony will provide the upgrade service to Windows® Vista™ OS for Windows® Vista™ Capable PC.

 

- What is Vista™ Upgrade Program?

       Vista™ Upgrade Program is an upgrade program to Windows® Vista™, offered by Sony, to VAIO customers with support from Microsoft.  This program is only applicable to VAIO customers who purchased Windows® Vista™ Capable PCs.

      

- Applicable models

VAIO owners who purchased qualifying Windows® Vista™ Capable PC with Windows® XP from 26th October 2006 to 15th March 2007

Note:

1: Windows® Vista™ Upgrade Kit must be purchased for applicable upgrade.

2: Please note that some models may not be upgraded to Home Premium.

 

2: Windows® Vista™ supplement disc for VAIO

Users can purchase a Windows® Vista™ supplement disc, which contains VAIO exclusive drivers, applications, etc. necessary for an upgrade to Windows® Vista™.  The drivers and applications necessary for the upgrade may be available for download.  Further information will be available in VAIO online support page shortly.

 

3. Provide upgrade information on VAIO support page

Sony will provide Vista™ upgrade information for each VAIO model on VAIO online support page.
