How to Use Memory Card File Rescue

Installing the downloaded file

STEP1
Double click on the downloaded file, [MCFileRescue.exe].
STEP2
Click [Next].
STEP3
Carefully read [License Agreement] and select [I accept the terms in the license agreement]. Then click [Next].
STEP4
Click [Install].

STEP5
Click [Finish].
The software will be installed.

Rescuing the data inside a memory card

STEP1
On Windows XP or Windows Vista, select [All Programs] from the [Start] menu, point to [Memory Card File Rescue], and then click [Memory Card File Rescue].
Memory Card File Rescue will start.
STEP2
Insert the memory card to recover data from, and click [Next].
STEP3
Select the drive in which the memory card is inserted, and click [Next].
STEP4
Confirm the displayed information and click [Run].
Tips
The data rescued from a memory card cannot be saved into the same memory card. Ensure that the PC hard-disk has enough memory space to save the data.

STEP5
Data recovery is in process.
Do not remove the memory card.
STEP6
When the process is complete, [Check Files] screen will be displayed.
STEP7
Select the file(s) you want to save, and click [Next].
STEP8
Specify the save destination(1)
Specify the folder name(2)
And click [Save].
Tips
You cannot save the data into the memory card under recovery process.

STEP9
Data saving is in process.
Do not remove the memory card.
STEP10
Data recovery is complete.
Tips
Click [End] and the file destination will be displayed.
