Why is the maximum volume not loud enough?

Question:

Maximum volume is not loud enough.

Answer:

The AVLS (Automatic Volume Limiter System) which is the function to limit the maximum volume to prevent auditory disturbance or distraction may be enabled.

To disable the AVLS function:

Press and hold the BACK/HOME button until the Home menu appears.
Press the button to select (settings), and then press the button to confirm.
Press the button to select Common Settings, and then press the button to confirm. (The list of Common Settings options appears.)
Press the button to select AVLS (Volume Limit), and then press button to confirm.
Press the button to select Off, and then press the button to confirm.
(The AVLS is disabled.)

If the issue is still unresolved after disabling the AVLS, replace the batteries in the portable player.
If the issue is still unresolved after completing all of the troubleshooting steps, service will be required.
