LED Lamp located at the front of the TV is blinking in orange color after network is connected and TV is set to standby condition. Is this symptom an indication of TV failure?

Question

LED Lamp located at the front of the TV is blinking in orange color after network is connected and TV is set to standby condition.

Answer

This TV contains a system update function. When the TV is connected to the network, it checks for the latest software. When available, the latest software is downloaded.

During the system update,/support/attachments/380588/timer.PNG Picture Off /Timer LED blinks in orange color. The TV operation does not work properly for about two minutes, this symptom is not a TV failure. Do not switch off the main power switch and do not remove AC Power cord during the period when LED is blinking.

After system update is completed, the /support/attachments/380588/timer.PNG Picture Off /Timer LED blinking stops and TV returns to standby condition.
