Windows XP Downgrade Limitation for VGN-Z5

Question

Windows XP Downgrade Limitation for VGN-Z5

Answer

1. HDMI is NOT supported.
2. The audio format which can be output is PCM only.
3. Sounds are not being output when playing back a DVD title in Dolby Digital Sounds by Windows Media Player.
    - MS Decoder for Dolby Digital Sounds is required.
4. Plug and Display function does not work.
5. Dynamic Hybrid Graphics need to be restarted after changing the speed /stamina selection
6. Wireless WAN function does not work. (Wireless WAN bundle models)
7. WiMAX function does not work. (WiMAX bundle models)
8. The error message System file cannot be updated appears when installing TPM Professional Package.
    - To complete installation, it is required to click OK in the error message, and continue the installation.
9. The contents are that of Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR.
10. Blu-ray disc is NOT supported.
      - CD/DVD is supported.
11. The copyright protection function of the SD memory card does not work
12. SSD RAID model is not supported
13. WinDVD can't playback on the clone mode. (Only Intel Graphics model)
14. Online and Offline manual are not offered for XP Downgrade.
15. VGP-BGU1 (Bluetooth GPSUnit) is NOT supported.
