Question

Create a AVCHD disc using PMB (Picture Motion Browser).

Answer

With PMB, you can write AVCHD™ videos to a DVD disc to create an AVCHD™ disc. The created AVCHD™ disc can be played back on "PLAYSTATION® 3" or a Blu-ray Disc™ player/recorder.

Warning: The screen design may be different depending on the version of your PMB.

  1. Insert a new DVD disc into the DVD drive of your computer.

  2. In the main window, select AVCHD™ videos you want to write to a disc.
You can select multiple videos at the same time. The selected videos are marked with a blue frame.

  3. Click  (Create Disc) and select [AVCHD Creation].

  4. Confirm that the selected videos/images are checked, and click Next.

    Description of the window

    1. Number (total time) of the videos checked in 1.

    2. Number (total time) of the videos selected in 2.

    2. Capacity of the DVD disc.

    1.  Move the order of the selected video/image forward

    2. Move the order of the selected video/image backward

Note: In Settings -> Disc Creation menu, by selecting the Seamless Disc Settings option, you can create a disc that plays the video seamlessly and smoothly. It may take longer to create a seamless disc.
