For users who have lost the CD-ROM of PMB (Picture Motion Browser) or Cyber-shot Viewer supplied with products, we are offering SPU (Sony Picture Utility) Download Manager, which lets you download PMB and its related software from the website.
Applicable products
- Products with which PMB (Picture Motion Browser) or Cyber-shot Viewer is supplied
* HDV camcorders and digital photo printers are not applicable.

- Windows® 2000 SP4
- Windows® XP SP3
- Windows® Vista SP1
- Windows® 7
* Supported OS and system requirements of the downloaded software are different depending on the versions. For details on the system requirements, please refer to the manual supplied with your product.
* Starter edition of Windows Vista / 7 is not supported.
About the software to be downloaded
- With SPU Download Manager, the product connected to the computer will be checked and the software appropriate for the connected product will be downloaded. However, depending on your product, the software to be downloaded may be different from the one originally supplied with it. Therefore, there are following differences and restrictions.
- For the products that bundle Cyber-shot Viewer, PMB will be downloaded instead.
- If you use GPS-CS1, GPS-CS1KA or GPS-CS1KASP, Windows 2000 is not supported with the downloaded software, although it is supported with the originally supplied software. Therefore, the downloaded software cannot be used with Windows 2000.
- Even if you connect a product which does not require Music Transfer, the downloaded software may include Music Transfer. In this case, you cannot use downloaded Music Transfer with your product.
- Depending on the versions of downloaded PMB, some contents of PMB Guide may be removed.
- For the products that bundle Cyber-shot Viewer, PMB will be downloaded instead.
- Software to be downloaded may be changed without prior notice.
- If you use an Alpha series DSLR camera, Image Data Converter SR and/or Sony Image Data Suite software (Windows version) will be downloaded in addition to PMB. As for Mac OS version, please download the latest Sony Image Data Suite software from here, instead of using SPU Download Manager which is incompatible with Mac OS.
