What does this download do?

This utility will upgrade SonicStage Ver 2.0 and SonicStage Ver 2.1 to SonicStage Ver 2.3. Please refer to the following information below before proceeding with the installation.

Note:
1. To ensure music files can be properly transferred to VAIO Pocket, SonicStage Ver 2.3 is required.

Important Notes

IMPORTANT: Before proceeding with the upgrade, disconnect all external hardware devices, including PC Cards (except for Sony PCMCIA CD-ROM drive and Floppy Disk Drive).

Note: Ensure that the VAIO computer is operated using the supplied AC adapter.
Note: Do not run any program or restart the computer unless instructed to do so, during the entire installation process.

Additional Information: To enable transfering of music tracks to VAIO Pocket, please also upgrade the following programs from VAIO Downloads and VAIO Accessories.

- VAIO Music Transfer and
- VAIO Pocekt (VGF-AP1) Firmware upgrade Version 3.0.
