VAIO Compatibility Guide for Memory Stick Duo

Sony launched the 16GB and 8GB Sony Memory Stick Duo. These Memory Stick Duo Media are compatible to all the VAIO models launched after January 2007. VAIO models which are launched between October 2005 and January 2007 will require a firmware update for the Host Controller Chips. This firmware has been released on the VAIO Support website. VAIO models launched before September 2005 are not compatible to the 16GB and 8GB Memory Stick Duo Media.

 

Below shows the compatibility information for VAIO Notebook with the 16GB and 8GB Sony Memory Stick Duo.
