Sony offers a superior 3D experience thanks to three exclusive technologies. The first is the Motionflow engine which combines the 'right eye' and 'left eye' images shot by 3D cameras into a single sharp TV picture; without the ghosting often encountered with 3D movies.

The second Sony technology is incorporated into our highly-advanced 3D glasses, which use high-speed LCD shutters to filter the 'right eye image' to the right eye and the ‘left eye image’ to the left. This provides a smooth, seamless 3D experience without the background flicker associated with inferior 3D technology.

The brilliant 3D picture of the HX900 Series is achieved by illuminating its LCD panel with high brightness Light Emitting Diodes. Whilst providing a brighter overall image these diodes can also be individually and specifically controlled to display deeper blacks and greater contrast.
