With some inferior 3D systems, as the image appears onscreen, the alternate frames intended specifically for the left or right eyes can get mixed up, meaning the correct frame is not fully seen by the correct eye. This is a complex issue which leads to image blur.

Sony Full HD 3D TVs overcome this problem thanks to Motionflow PRO 200Hz technology which enables the full image to be displayed every frame. So the 3D picture is sharp and crisp with less blur.

The second Sony technology is incorporated into our highly-advanced 3D glasses, which use high-speed LCD shutters to filter the 'right eye image' to the right eye and the ‘left eye image’ to the left. This provides a smooth, seamless 3D experience without the background flicker associated with inferior 3D technology.

The brilliant 3D picture of the HX800 Series is achieved by illuminating its LCD panel with high brightness Light Emitting Diodes set along the edges. Whilst providing a brighter overall image these diodes can also be individually and specifically controlled to display deeper blacks and greater contrast.
