Enjoy high picture quality with 1080p Full HD Upscaling function which upscales all SD content on DVDs (576i) to Full HD 1080p levels (720p/1080i/1080p). Furthermore, as the pictures generated are progressive and not interlaced, they possess twice the amount of scanning lines and have a higher resolution, which makes everything looks better.

Stop a movie in the middle, play some music or another movie, and return to where you stopped just by pushing play. This feature remembers the resume point for 6 discs or for 40 discs, depending on the player.
Using twice the number of scanning lines compared to the more common interlaced format, Progressive Scan is able to accurately reproduce the naturalness of rocks, water and even the texture of skin. Clearly notice the difference on a large-screen TV, where scanning lines from interlaced scanning are quite apparent.
