Adaptive Strategy Setting for Ultimate Recording
This technology automatically tune write strategy for each media inserted optimizing the write quality and providing a wider media compatibility even with unknown discs.
Partial Response Maximum Likelihood
This technology was developed for HDD and BD, and now Sony is using it for CD & DVD. The drive has a high readability reducing on the error rate especially with poor quality discs.
Front-End Digitalization
No more conventional analog equalizer, with front-end digitalization, the drive is able to enhance stability and quality.
Adaptive Self Tuning
With this new technology, the drive is able to automatically tune and optimize drive hardware for the best read and write performance and quality with each disc.
