Scene Select

The easy way to perfect

It can be difficult, not to mention frustrating, to constantly adjust your picture and sound settings. With Scene Select, the television automatically chooses a preset A/V adjustment based on the genre encoded in the Electronic Programming Guide of our movie or game. With a wide variety of presets such as Cinema, Sports and Music, Game, and Photo/Graphics, you'll always be assured of the best results no matter what you're watching or playing on your BRAVIA television.

New GUI

Easy navigation with a new intuitive interface.

The BRAVIA television's new GUI makes it easy to find what you're looking for with its clean and intuitive layout. Main menu items are displayed at the bottom while submenu items are shown on the right, making it easy and quick for you to get to where you want to go. You won't even have to miss a second of your programme as it continues to show in a separate window while you're navigating the menus.

Position Control

Get the best results no matter where you're seated.

Using a built-in Face Detection camera and technology, your BRAVIA television is able to tell where viewers are gathered – whether to the left, right, or centre – and adjust the picture and audio balance accordingly for optimum performance.

Distance Alert

Ensure your children watch television
from a suitable distance.

If you've ever had to keep an eye on your children to make sure they don't sit too close to the television, Distance Alert will take a huge load off your shoulders. Leveraging on Face Detection technology, this feature will automatically interrupt the picture and sound with an alert message and chime respectively when it senses your child within 1m from the screen.

Quick Start & Viewing

Save power and enjoy a faster startup time.

With this feature, power consumption for your BRAVIA television is reduced to nearly zero while in standby mode. But if you choose to switch off the main power outlet, you'll be glad to know that the startup time after switching it on again has also been shortened by as much as 2-3 times. No matter how you choose to save power, BRAVIA televisions make it both easy and convenient.
