High Tilt Margin

Blu-ray Disc has achieved the tilt margin which is equal to the DVD with quintuple area and realized stable Write/Read.

Professional Disc makes Laser beam spot area small using the High performance Lens.

However, the other side, if the Lens and the recording layer leave when the disc tilts, it has influenced Write/Read, because the influence by the spot degradation becomes big.

Professional Disc has made the thickness of the protective layer thin to 0.1 mm to bring a record layer close to the lens more.
