How to clean hardware

Cleaning Tape is effective to:
  • Remove the light contaminants to prevent scratches on video heads.
  • (Recommendation: use once every 50 hours of operation.)
  • Use as directed - 5 attempts maximum. Do not rewind / reuse cleaning tapes.
Direct manual cleaning with cleaning cloth and alcohol. It is effective in removing:
  • Adhered dirt on head drums and/or fallen materials on tape path.
  • (Recommendation: every 100~200 hours of operation.)
  • Only 95% ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL & Cleaning Cloth TYPE MATERIAL are recommended to be used.

For metal tape cassette machines, it depends on the temperature, humidity, amount of dust in the operation environment, as well as how frequent the machines are used.
