Do not manually wind tape
This results in tape damage.
- Cassette tapes are designed for optimal playback, rewinding and forwarding with VTR machines.
- If you manually open the cassette lid and conduct hand winding, you may expose tapes to contamination or accidental scratches. If you rotate a reel naturally, you may introduce excess pressure to the tapes against metal guides. It may cause brush scratches.
