Crystal art magnetic particles for high density recording
The PDP Series employs ultrafine "Crystal Art" magnetic particles, which deliver high retentivity and outstanding output. And with Sony's original surface treatment, block error rates are suppressed to less than 5 10-4, according to Sony standard measurements.
HD&R Binder System achieves low error rates
Sony's original HD&R Binder Systems allows for higher densities, better durability, and --with the combined effect of the special backcoating--realizes a tape with low error rates, even after 1000 cycles on a shuttle test.
Cassette shell shuts out dust and foreign particles
The anti-static resin lid shuts out dust and other unwelcome particles.
"PP Case" protects the cassette and tape
The polypropylene material of the case does not crack easily, even when accidentally dropped. There's also a "dust-free" lid construction that guards against abrasion dust being generated during openings and closings. A stronger Lock Mechanism and Rounded Edge construction protect against shocks from falls while also preventing tape slack.
New "Fraction" Variations :
What's more, there's a total of five time lengths of 15/35/50/65/95/125 minutes to allow ample recordings. Each of these models also comes with two label sizes.
