WhiteMagic™ combines RGB and white pixels in a unique RGBW structure that boosts screen brightness 2.4 times while also reducing power consumption through high transmittance technology. The result is brighter, higher contrast images on the high-resolution display (approx.1229k-dot, 3.0-inch/7.5cm, VGA) for easier, more accurate checking of the focus.

The 1229k-dot resolution is approximately 2.6 times higher than Clear Photo LCD. By revealing minute features of your subject and small details like text, it allows you to fully enjoy the subtle nuances of photographic expression.

Sony's TruBlack technology enhances viewing clarity and enjoyment. By employing resin between the monitor's outer glass and liquid crystals, it effectively minimises reflections for a noticeable improvement in contrast.
