Why does an error message appear when Address Book in Outlook Express Ver.5.0 is activated?

Following are the details of the error message:
1. MSIMN invalid page fault. Module: MSOE
2. MSIMN invalid page fault. Module: unknown

4. MSIMN invalid page fault. Module: WAB32.DLL
5. Msimn C0000006h exception. Module: Directdb.dll
6. Outlook Express: Could not send the message. Disk area is insufficient.
7. An unknown error occurred. Protocol: SMTP, Port: 0, Security (SSL): N/A, Error No.: 0x800c0131


Please refer to the steps below for the respective error messages displayed to resolve the symptom:

A.

These error occur when the Folders.dbx file is missing or damaged, or the read-only attribute is used.

To change the name of the Folders.dbx file and re-generate it:
1. Click Start, click Search and click All files and folders.
2. In the file name text box, enter folders.dbx.
3. Select Drive C and click Search.
4. Right-click the located folders.dbx file and click Rename.
5. Enter folders.old and click OK.
6. The folders.dbx file is automatically created when Outlook Express starts the next time.

B. MSIMN invalid page fault. Module: WAB32.DLL

This error occurs when the Wab32.dll file is damaged.
Rename Address Book to avoid this symptom. However, please do not change its extension.

Note: The file name of Address Book is usually same as the user's logon name.
When the extension of the file is not displayed, disable Hide extensions for known file type.

To display the extension of the file:
1. Double-click My Computer, click Tools, click Folder Options and click the View tab.
2. Disable the Hide extensions for known file type option.
3. Click OK.

To rename Address Book:
1. Click Start, click Search and then click All files and folders.
2. Enter *.wab in the text box and click Search.
* It is usually stored in C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book.
3. Right-click the (given name).wab file and click Rename.
* Do not change the extension of the .wab file.
4. Enter a new file name and press Enter.
5. Start Outlook Express and click the Address icon.
* A new Address Book is created.

To import messages from the renamed *.wab file to the new Address Book:
1. Start Outlook Express and click the Address icon.
2. Click File, point to Import and click Address Book (WAB).
3. Select the renamed *.wab file and click Open.
4. Click OK.
